Darkroom Printing
We have a fully equipped darkroom, consisting of 12 enlargers. We are able to print all sizes of negatives up to 5×4.
We currently only offer black and white printing but are looking into printing colour – stay tuned for updates.
We open the darkroom on a Wednesday evening 6-9pm.
If this is your first time printing, don’t worry, we’ll show you what to do.
Cost per evening:
- Members – £8.50
- Non Members – £15
Film Developing
We have facilities to process most sizes of film, 110, 35mm, 120, 126, 127, and 5×4 (we can always work out ways to process vintage non standard formats. We also have the facilities to process 8mm and 16mm cinefilm. If you haven’t developed before, or it’s been a while, don’t worry, we’ll show you what to do.
We can process all black and white and colour films, and stock a small selection of different developers for you to experiment with.

E6 Slide film – we can process slide film, although the chemicals have a very short shelf life, we shall be running regular sessions just for E6 processing.

Film & Paper
We stock a small selection of film and paper which can be purchased on a Wednesday night, or at workshops.
Access
The darkroom is in the basement of a 200 year old church. Currently there is only access via stairs.
