Handmade 2017 exhibitions

We are once again taking part in this years Handmade Festival, with two exhibitions at the O2 Arena at the Leicester University campus.

‘HighLife, Low Life’ – an analogue exhibition by Lo-Fi member Joe Manger

We have been given permission to use the very well equipped darkroom at the St Margarets campus of Leicester College. We will be running darkroom and film processing sessions on a Thursday evening 6-9pm.

Exposure Exhibition

Our latest exhibition – Exposure – has just been installed at the Orange Tree. Collating recent work by current Leicester Lo-Fi members. With everything from pinholes to photograms, paper negatives to destroyed negatives.   It’s on show until the end of August. [foogallery id=”1635″]

The Russian Camera Photowalk last weekend was a great day out, exploring the city in glorious sunshine with cameras built from tanks (not really, but they were very heavy), below are some photos of us out and about, as well as back at the darkroom 

Basic Darkroom Workshop

This Sunday we’re holding a Basic Darkroom Skills Workshop, learn how to print your own black and white photographs in our darkroom. You will be provided with paper, but will need to bring your own black and white negatives (any format). Book now on the Workshops page
